Today I want to show you how easy it is to make Pesto classico :) You absolutely don’t need a lot, only 6 ingredients and a good working pureé stick!

In this is what you need:

  • 100 g of Parmesan
  • 100 g of pine nuts
  • 10 table spoons of Olive oil ( you might need more, you might need less)
  • 100 g of basil
  • 3 cloves of garlic (you can also use less if you prefer it less garlicy :)

1) First roast the pine nuts. Be pacient :) They will only need around 2 minutes and make sure to roast them on a light heat. They burn quickly and the the darker they get, the stronger the taste will be.

2) You need a large cup where to pureé the pesto won’t be a problem. First you need olive oil. Take 7 heaped tablespoons of olive oil and add some basil, a bit of parmesan, garlic and some pine nuts into it. Now all you have to do is pureé everything together. If it’s a bit hard to stir than keep adding a bit of olive oil into it. It will eventually work, you’ll see :)

Now that a small paste is noticable you can add the rest and keep stiring, stiring aaaand stiring :)

And Done!! :)
